Celebrating more than 25 years in the data center industry, AFCOM www.afcom.com is the only association dedicated to providing education and resources for data center managers. Our mission is to enable data center management professionals to share industry best practices by providing a forum for dissemination of critical information; to provide education on key data center management issues; to provide the industry’s most comprehensive insight and analysis in key areas affecting all data-intensive organizations; and to be the most comprehensive and effective resource available to the overall data center community.
AFCOM’s local chapter program is designed to help members build relationships with peers and learn from industry experts. This is done through regional meetings that take place in small group settings. Members who become involved in local chapters gain insight into current data center issues, have instant connections to resources and information, and are part of a team of industry professionals in their area.
Data Center World conference and trade show www.datacenterworld.com is the premier educational resource for data center professionals, presented by AFCOM. Data Center World recognizes the challenges of running a data center efficiently and effectively. We launched this bi-annual event in 1981 with the goal of providing a hands-on, educational program to enable data center professionals to better balance the key components of running a data center: management, business and technology.
AFCOM publishes Data Center Management magazine on a bimonthly basis and Communique is our monthly online newsletter, which is e-mailed to all AFCOM members.
